Anita is a biologist with a PhD from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. She has a solid background in immunology, vaccine development, infectious diseases, respiratory and inflammatory disorders, and endocrinology.

 

She worked for nine years as an academic researcher and from 2000 to 2005 as a medical writer and regulatory scientist in the pharmaceutical industry, specializing in regulatory writing. She joined Words & Science in 2005 as a clinical regulatory and publications writer.

Anita is a member of the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA).
